Curricular internships are as a part of your studies where the internship is worth ECTS credits, often as a part of the Erasmus plus programme. These internships usually offer a stipend of between 100 and 300 euro per month but they can occasionally be higher.

For EU citizens coming to Germany to do an internship is really easy. To do a curricular internship all you need is a training agreement from your university. A training agreement is a document which outlines all the details of your internship and proves that the internship is as a part of your studies. It has to be signed by your university, the receiving company and by you, the intern. For non-EU citizens, your internship must be approved by the German Federal Employment Agency.
